The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on Sunday released a graph of temperature variation on the lunar surface. The temperature variation on the moon ranges from 70 degrees Celsius to minus 10 degrees Celsius. Scientists are also surprised by this. Thanks to Mission Chandrayaan 3, after stepping on the south pole of the moon for the first time in history, new information and pictures are constantly coming out from there.

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on Sunday released a graph of temperature variation on the lunar surface. A senior scientist of the space agency has expressed surprise over the high temperature recorded on the moon. According to the National Space Agency, the Lunar Surface Thermophysical Experiment (CHEST).

Variation up to 50 degrees

 "When we go two to three centimeters inside the Earth, we hardly see a difference of two to three degrees centigrade, whereas there (in the moon) it is about 50 degrees centigrade variation. The temperature below the surface of the moon falls to minus 10 degrees Celsius. The 'Chest' payload was developed by a team led by the Space Physics Laboratory (SPL) of ISRO's Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) in collaboration with the Physical Research Laboratory (PRL), Ahmedabad. India created history on August 23 with ISRO's ambitious third moon mission Chandrayaan-3 landing on the lunar surface, making it the fourth country to achieve this feat, and the first country in the world to land on the South Pole.
