In just a bit more than half a century, the quaint town of Pilani has risen from the whim of a pile of sand to a town housing one of the best universities in this country, BITS Pilani. While we, at BITS, take pride in succeeding in most technical activities, we also boast about hosting APOGEE, the technical fest of BITS Pilani.
It gives us, the students of BITS Pilani, immense pleasure to welcome you to take active part in our annual technical fest APOGEE '18-A Cybernetic Vision, which will take place from 21st-25th February 2018.
With an array of events that consolidate our vision for times to come, the 36th edition of APOGEE is ready to set your scientific spirits soaring and your technological temper ablaze. This time, APOGEE will witness a wide range of scientific and technical activities and novel events from other upcoming fields like finance, consulting, entrepreneurship among others.
- Watch robots go against each other in a battle for survival in Robots at War and witness the ultimate race for glory, the Full Throttle Grand Prix. Be a part of the International Coding League and code your heart away and rule the skies with the radio controlled aircraft race Airborne. Tackle grass roots problems through Dhiti and brainstorm your way through the APOGEE Innovation Challenge.
- Catch the entrepreneurial bug with the E-Summit and rule the turbulent markets with Stock Market Simulation. Showcase your research expertise in your field of choice through the Paper and Project Presentation. Tickle your brain cells through the numerous quizzes and receive quality, hands-on training with our certified workshops.
- Host eminent speakers and authors as part of the Think Again Conclave and Papyrus Trails- The Literature Festival. Get a taste of cutting edge technology of today and the future through exhibitions.
- Participate in a variety of quizzes like BizQuiz, SciTech, India Quiz and stand a chance to win prizes up to Rs.60,000. Be a part of workshops based on topics such as VFX,Gesture Robotics, Big data and Deep learning.
